Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the UKCLO team in Knutsford. You will modernise platforms by replacing fragmented legacy processes with a streamlined, digital workflow, collaborating with multiple tech teams, PMs and stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.

You will contribute to high-quality software, rigorously testing and promoting secure coding practices while working in an Agile banking environment.

Qualifications

• Back-end Java stack incl. SpringBoot, JPA/Hibernate, Junit, RestAssured, MicroServices, Mockito, TDD.
• Front-end: React JS, Redux, Axios, JavaScript, HTML.
• RDBMS MS SQL, aPaaS Openshift V4, GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, SonarQube, Veracode.
• NPM and build tools Maven or Gradle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality software across full stack while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and align with business objectives.
• Promote code quality through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed on tech trends and contribute to the organisation's technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices and implement unit testing.
