Job summary

Talent Locker is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) for a Warminster, Hybrid role with Security Clearance (SC). Lead design and development of modern, scalable applications across the full stack and mentor peers.

You will influence architecture, standards, and the products you build in mission-critical programmes. The role focuses on frontend Angular and Java backend work, API integrations, secure software, and collaboration with stakeholders to shape requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full stack software in commercial environments.
• Proficiency with Angular or another modern TypeScript frontend framework.
• Strong Java backend development skills.
• Experience with SQL databases and API development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of software architecture and scalable system design.
• Agile delivery and collaborative development practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building full stack applications from frontend through to backend and database
• Developing modern web applications using Angular, Java and SQL technologies
• Creating APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms and external systems
• Building secure, scalable and maintainable software with quality built in from day one
• Working with event-driven architectures and near real-time data where appropriate
• Improving CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and engineering best practices
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentoring fellow engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture
