Job summary

Vanguard, one of the world’s largest investment management companies, seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to front office applications within the GIFS team. You’ll work closely with portfolio managers and product owners to design, develop, and optimise solutions.

The role requires expert frontend skills (Vue.js/React) and strong backend experience (Java, with Python/Node.js) in distributed microservices.

Qualifications

• Expertise in frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React) and strong UI/UX sense.
• Backend experience with Java, plus Python/Node.js familiarity for microservices.
• Solid understanding of system design principles and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize front office applications within the GIFS team.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and product owners to deliver features.
• Mentor peers and ensure coding standards, testing, and security requirements are met.
• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle.
