Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join the Equity Accelerator programme in London. You will design and deliver end-to-end cloud-native, event-driven trading and post-trade systems, combining deep capital markets knowledge with modern frontend interfaces.

You will mentor peers and drive architecture decisions while delivering high-quality software through TDD and CI/CD. This role offers exposure to real-time data, distributed systems, and production readiness within a

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java development experience.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience with React and/or Angular.
• Hands-on experience in capital markets, including trade lifecycle and position management.
• Willingness to learn Kotlin or prior Kotlin experience preferred.
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
• Proven experience designing and developing event-driven distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with messaging patterns, event processing, resiliency, and failure handling.
• Strong TDD practices and end-to-end software quality ownership.
• Experience in Agile with CI/CD, trunk-based development, and frequent production releases.
• Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets or streaming tech.
• Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and work independently in complex PROD environments.

The role involves developing and enhancing institutional-grade trading and post-trade systems using cloud-native, event-driven architectures while delivering advanced client-facing features. Engineers will work within a complex production environment, combining deep technical expertise with strong capital markets knowledge.
