Cohere is a security‑first enterprise AI company seeking a senior generalist who can move between backend and frontend as the roadmap demands. You will own end‑to‑end features in the Data Abstractions & Tools domain for the North platform, designing scalable data ingestion and knowledge-base workflows while collaborating across Product, UX, and modeling teams.

The role emphasizes security, performance, and cross‑stack fluency, with opportunities to impact enterprise data pipelines and AI

Qualifications

• Shipped fullstack code (Python & React) in production.
• Comfortable across the stack, flexible in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building/ deploying high-performance client/server apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack.
• Own features end-to-end from design to release and iteration.
• Write minimal code suitable for low-resource environments with strong security.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and modeling teams to validate requirements.
• Raise engineering bar through patterns, testing, code reviews and mentoring.
• Use AI actively while ensuring quality and reliability of outputs.
