Job summary

Aberdeen in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Digital) to lead the development of modern digital platforms using React, Next.js, .NET and Azure. You will work across front-end applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure and enterprise integrations, contributing to technical design, architecture and engineering standards while remaining hands-on in delivery.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in React and Next.js for modern web application development.
Experience building and supporting REST APIs and backend services using C# and .NET.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern web applications, APIs and digital integrations that deliver secure, scalable and high-performing client experiences.
Lead technical design decisions, influence architecture and ensure alignment with engineering, security and accessibility standards.
Drive cloud-native development within Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD automation, observability and operational excellence.
Collaborate across product, UX, architecture and business teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions and technology modernisation initiatives.
Investigate complex production issues, lead root cause analysis and continuously improve platform resilience and service performance.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering capability, reusable platform services and cross-team improvement initiatives.
