Job summary

Abel & Cole is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to lead the technical direction of customer-facing web and mobile products. You will develop with Next.js and React Native, integrate REST APIs, and contribute to .NET backends while guiding the team on best practices.

You will mentor engineers, oversee end-to-end feature delivery, and collaborate with Product, Design and QA in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience as a full-stack engineer with TypeScript.
• Proven experience with React and React Native, shipping apps to stores.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and .NET backend is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration, mentoring, and communication in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-facing web and mobile products (Next.js, React Native).
• Integrate REST APIs using typed OpenAPI/Swagger clients.
• Contribute to backend endpoints powering both platforms (.NET).
• Own features end-to-end from design to delivery, monitoring, and release.
• Provide technical leadership, set standards, and manage debt and performance.
