Job summary

HP Wolf Security in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help scale the Controller and integrate it with HP's Workforce Experience Platform. You will work across API/back-end (Python/Django) and front-end (React/TypeScript/Vue.js), with background jobs (Celery) and AWS deployment.

You’ll join a small, focused team, hybrid in Cambridge with onsite three days per week, and opportunities to contribute to cloud services using Go and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Python (Django) and building scalable web services.
• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, and SQL for front-end and back-end integration.
• Experience deploying services on AWS and using cloud-native patterns.
• Familiarity with Celery and background task processing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Ability to debug and optimize complex queries.
• Experience with Go and cloud services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop API and UI backends using Python/Django and SQL.
• Maintain and extend the background worker services (Celery).
• Build front-end UI and data visualisation with React/TypeScript/Vue.js.
• Deploy services to AWS and integrate with HP Cloud Platform Services.
• Write unit tests and CI automation for reliable releases.
• Collaborate across teams on cloud services (Go, PostgreSQL, AWS Lambda).
• Contribute to security and scalability improvements across products.
