Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer Engineer for a Cyber DevOps-focused role. This remote contract covers end-to-end software development, cloud deployment and production support across security-focused projects.

You'll design and build backend services with Python/FastAPI and create modern UIs in JavaScript/React, using PostgreSQL and AWS. The role emphasizes secure coding and reliable automation in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python development experience, ideally using FastAPI.
• Experience building backend services and frontend applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript, React and AWS.
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining full-stack applications and internal engineering tools.
• Building backend services, REST APIs and automation solutions using Python and FastAPI.
• Developing modern web interfaces using JavaScript and React.
• Working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Developing and deploying applications within AWS environments.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshooting application, infrastructure and integration issues.
• Applying secure development principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
