Latyn in London is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to design and scale AI-native applications for financial services. You will own core product development, collaborate with founders, and drive architecture decisions.

The role requires expertise in React, Next.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes, with equity and a competitive salary in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience with React and Next.js.
• Excellent backend development skills using Python.
• Experience with FastAPI or Django.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Redis, background workers, and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered).
• Strong Git workflows and collaborative software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern full-stack applications from frontend to backend.
• Develop high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI or Django preferred).
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Build reliable background workers, asynchronous processing, and distributed services.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate closely with founders, product, design, and engineering to deliver high-impact features.
• Improve scalability, security, reliability, and engineering best practices across the platform.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
