Job summary

PlannerPal is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to bridge application development with a strong background in DevOps and enterprise-level engineering. You will design and build key features, develop CI/CD pipelines, and deploy AI-enabled services on AWS.

The role offers remote-first work within the UK and close collaboration with founders during a defining growth stage. You will work across backend (Python) and frontend (React/Flutter), manage infra with Terraform/CDK, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years’ experience building backend using Python and frontend with modern JavaScript.
• Strong DevOps experience at production level with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiar with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Experience with Python and React and AWS hosting/back-end services.
• Experience using agentic coding tools.
• Experience designing automated tests and CI pipelines.
• Agile team experience with sprints and stand-ups.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution design for new features within defined architecture.
• Make pragmatic trade-off decisions on scope, performance, scalability, security.
• Take ownership of complex work across architecture, integrations, performance.
• Design, build and optimise service journeys using Python, React, Postgres, AWS.
• Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Help evolve platform architecture for performance, resilience, observability and security.
