Job summary

Avallo in the United Kingdom is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will take ownership of technically demanding projects across client engagements and work with founders, executives and client teams.

The role is hands-on: design systems, write production code, make architectural decisions and ship software used in real operating environments. Our stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production-grade web applications.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases and industries quickly.
• Strong ownership, pace and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch new applications from the ground up.
• Modernise complex legacy platforms to enhance reliability and performance.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows and automation.
• Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate with existing systems, APIs and data platforms.
• Collaborate with founders, executives and client teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
