Fitch Ratings is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our global Ratings Technology team in London. This is your opportunity to influence how a world-leading credit ratings agency delivers insights, shaping future technology and delivering high-value analyst experiences.

You will work with engineering teams on ratings workflow and analytics, exploring AI to transform analytical workflows and delivering high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java/Springboot and/or C#/.NET.
• Good familiarity with Python, REACT and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design robust full-stack applications using Java/Springboot, C#/.NET, Python and React.
• Lead architectural decisions, establish technical standards and drive AI/ML exploration.
• Mentor engineers, facilitate technical discussions and foster experimentation.
• Champion engineering excellence, CI/CD pipelines and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts and senior stakeholders as a trusted tech advisor.
• Shape team direction and influence multi-team initiatives while maintaining delivery velocity.
