Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related education or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years designing, developing, shipping and maintaining backend and frontend apps with Python and React.
• Strong DevOps experience at production level with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with Python and React and AWS hosting/backend services.
• Significant experience using agentic coding tools.
• Experience creating automated tests and contributing to CI pipelines.
• Agile team experience (sprints, stand-ups, retros).
• Ability to debug live incidents under time pressure.
• Ownership mindset and collaborative team player.
• Comfortable with AI code development tooling.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution design for new features within a defined architecture framework.
• Design, build and optimise service journeys with our tech stack (Backend Python, Frontend React, Flutter).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC using CDK/Terraform.
• Build and deploy AI agents to production and ensure security and reliability.
• Improve developer experience, tooling and processes in collaboration with engineers.
• Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams during a defining growth stage.
