Job summary

Glite Tech, a London-based startup, is building an ML-powered tutoring app to teach English to intermediate and advanced learners. We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing development team.

You will design high-scale systems, build CI/CD pipelines, work on ML data pipelines, and collaborate across product, ML, and mobile teams. The role offers relocation support and a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Python and AWS experience.
• Experience designing scalable architectures.
• Proven CI/CD automation experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Docker.
• Understand monolith vs microservices trade-offs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of secure API practices (REST/HTTPS).
• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
• Ability to speak multiple languages or willing to learn.
• Experience with real-time/in-memory databases and frontend frameworks.
• Experience in educational product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a high-scale system for millions of users.
• Create CI/CD processes and testing pipelines for fast iteration and stability.
• Work on ML model development and data pipelines.
• Analyze large data corpora and build real-time recommendations.
• Handle data across multiple modalities (text, video, images, audio).
• Collaborate with mobile developers, PMs, ML engineers and designers.
