Job summary

Pearson Carter are partnering with a UK-based outdoor retail company to recruit a Senior Full Stack Developer. You will work on greenfield and legacy projects using C#, React and TypeScript within a microservices design environment, building RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrating SQL Server and external APIs.

This remote-first role offers flexible working, with core hours 10:00–16:00 and a 37.5-hour week, plus options for part-time work or compressed 9-day fortnights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in React and TypeScript in commercial projects.
• 5+ years in C# in production environments.
• Experience with microservice design principles preferred.

Pearson Carter are currently working with a UK-based outdoor retail company that sells clothing, footwear, accessories and equipment for outdoor activities. This company are an international multi-channel retailer with 400 stores worldwide, alongside a significant e-commerce operation. They are investing heavily in their in-house technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications usingC#, React and TypeScript
• Work across both greenfield and legacy projects
• Design and develop solutions usingmicroservices architectures
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Work with SQL Server and third-party API/SaaS integrations
• Contribute to continuous delivery through modern Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Experience:

• Minimum5 years' commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Minimum5 years' commercial experience with C#
• Knowledge and preferably commercial experience withmicroservice design principles

Desirable Experience:

• Docker and Kubernetes

Salary

They offer a salary of up £100,000, plus benefits.

Location
