Job summary

Pitchup.com is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to modernise and expand our front-end capabilities. We use Nuxt.js for new projects and explore micro-frontends to accelerate UX changes, with a fast feedback loop from users.

You'll work on our Vue.js based stack, collaborate with Product and design to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces, and contribute to front-end architecture and best practices while shipping features quickly.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years as a front-end developer, ideally within a scaling business.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Vue.js, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience building adaptive and responsive websites.
• Strong focus on code quality with front-end testing familiarity (Jasmine, Mocha, Chai).
• Familiar with front-end tooling (Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, Yarn).
• Structured problem solving and clear communication of technical concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile development team.

Responsibilities

• Add features to our current customer and campsite site using Vue.js, deploying code into production in the first week.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to design and develop UI/UX changes.
• Suggest and implement changes to front-end architecture, contributing to design documents and plans.
• Improve development practices and processes.
