LaraBench in Hull is seeking a full stack developer with a strong frontend focus to join our construction supplies team. You’ll build, enhance and maintain customer-facing features in our Vue.js / Nuxt.js storefront, delivering performant and accessible experiences.

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs, apply TDD, and contribute to architectural decisions. The role is majority remote with occasional travel to Hull, and offers a £45,000–£55,000 salary plus bonus and

Qualifications

• Frontend-focused full stack role requiring strong Vue/Nuxt and RESTful API integration.
• Experience building or maintaining customer-facing storefronts with responsive, accessible UI.
• Collaborate closely with backend services and participate in code reviews and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain customer-facing features in Vue.js / Nuxt.js storefront.
• Create performant, accessible frontend experiences with Core Web Vitals.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, component design and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate on API contracts and data flows with backend teams.
• Ensure applications meet security and data protection standards.
• Collaborate using Git, Bitbucket and Jira within Scrum delivery process.
• Apply TDD and unit testing to keep applications reliable.
• Leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD processes.
