Job summary

WOLF Qanawat is seeking a Senior Frontend Web Engineer to lead development of a web application and migrate from Polymer to React/TypeScript. The role is hybrid with minimum 2 days in the Cramlington/ Newcastle area, offering a salary of £52,000–£58,000 per year.

You will own features end-to-end and collaborate across engineering, product and QA teams. Candidates must have strong English communication, autonomy, and a proven track record delivering complex, dynamic web interfaces.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with a track record building complex, dynamic web apps.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
• Ability to own problems end-to-end with minimal guidance.
• Clear, effective spoken and written English, especially across engineering squads.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end projects from concept through rollout.
• Contribute to Polymer-to-React migration and modern design patterns.
• Build complex, interactive UIs in cross-functional squads with backend, QA and product teams.
• Improve development workflows and maintain UI consistency through code reviews.
• Mentor and collaborate with the web chapter and other teams.
