Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our cross-functional Agile team delivering EDI products. You will design, build and maintain scalable user interfaces using React and TypeScript, mentoring colleagues and shaping technical direction.

Based in Peterborough or Bracknell, this hybrid role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership and collaboration with UX, backend, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive design, and browser behaviour.
• Experience designing and building maintainable frontend applications at scale.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of frontend testing practices and tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Security-conscious approach to frontend development, including awareness of dependency risks, package integrity, and secure coding practices.
• A continual learning mindset and interest in improving both personal and team capability

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Take ownership of complex technical work from design through to delivery
• Contribute to technical planning and Agile ceremonies
• Help improve engineering standards, documentation, testing practices, and development workflows
• Explore and promote responsible use of AI-assisted development tools where they can improve team effectiveness
