Job summary

Autodesk UK is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, translating product requirements into iterative, customer-facing features and building scalable frontends using React and TypeScript.

You will collaborate with product, UX and engineering peers, lead quality through automated tests and CI/CD, and mentor others while embracing Agile practices and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years frontend development with HTML, CSS, JS, React.
• Experience with Redux, MobX or React Query.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into customer-facing features.
• Design scalable frontend solutions with clear boundaries.
• Balance trade-offs across components for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with PMs, UX, architects and engineers.
• Lead root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Improve code quality through reviews and testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide accurate estimates.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity.
