Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Flexibility team. You will lead frontend capability, set technical direction, and build a range of customer-facing journeys that empower users with low carbon tech management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with the stack listed below.
• Experience solving problems rather than strict guidelines.
• Ownership of the development cycle from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to tackle large-scale tasks independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Act as the frontend engineer for the Flexibility team; establish frontend capability and lead technical direction.
• Build and own diverse customer-facing journeys to onboard, control, and analyze low carbon tech.
• Create internal interfaces for stakeholders and experimental prototypes.
• Interface with mobile teams via WebViews for new journeys.
• Collaborate with Design to integrate Coral design system.
• Carry out product discovery with Product Manager and stakeholders.
• Build highly reusable interfaces to enable rapid responses to new opportunities.
