Job summary

Delta Capita seeks an experienced Senior Front End Developer to lead the front-end delivery of a greenfield customer portal within a UK financial services remediation programme.

You will build a secure, scalable, and intuitive user experience using Angular or React with TypeScript, integrating with REST APIs and authentication services. This role requires ownership and collaboration across engineering, UX and business teams.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing web apps with Angular or React and TypeScript.
• Experience building customer-facing digital products and portals.
• Experience developing applications from scratch.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and authentication mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain customer-facing web apps using Angular or React and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, secure and user-friendly interfaces from designs and business requirements.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, authentication services and workflow platforms.
• Implement customer authentication journeys including OTP and multi-factor authentication.
• Support secure handling of customer data, PII and bank account information.
• Collaborate with business, UX, product and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and release activities.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
