Job summary

Genomics, a science-led TechBio company, is hiring a front-end engineer to own the frontend of our SaaS platform, working with TypeScript and React on large datasets. Hybrid role in Oxford or London with strong emphasis on data visualisation and performance.

You'll collaborate with product managers, designers and data scientists to turn complex analytics into clear user experiences, raise the bar for front-end practice, and contribute to a mission that aims to help people live longer, healthier

Qualifications

• Shipped complex products using TypeScript and React.
• Experience with platforms handling large datasets.
• Ability to own significant workstreams and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Proven impact on front-end performance and UX.

Responsibilities

• Own the front end of our SaaS platform end to end, from design and delivery to quality and performance.
• Build data visualisation components that stay fast and intuitive when the datasets behind them are enormous.
• Keep the platform performing as data volumes and user numbers grow.
• Make sound technical decisions with minimal oversight, balancing speed with maintainability.
• Work with product managers, designers and data scientists to turn complex analytical output into clear user experiences.
• Raise the bar for front-end practice by sharing knowledge and supporting teammates.
