Farther is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on Conversational and Gen UI. This remote role supports USA, UK, and Europe, building interfaces and frameworks for AI-assisted advisor interactions.

You will shape the renderer and wire contracts, while mentoring peers and promoting strong developer experience. You should bring 6+ years of production web app experience, expert frontend skills, and a track record with large-scale interfaces and AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web applications with strong frontend focus.
• Expert-level frontend engineering with strict typing mindset.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and scalable UI design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the assistant experience from prototype to production.
• Build framework for declarative Farther surfaces in a few lines.
• Design the renderer mapping model outputs to validated UI.
• Negotiate wire contracts with the backend team and validate with tests.
• Treat developer experience as a first-class deliverable and document APIs.
• Mentor engineers and raise the quality bar in reviews.
