Job summary

AlphaSights in London is seeking talented software engineers to join a cross-functional engineering team collaborating with product managers and designers. You will own services, align development with our engineering strategy, and mentor junior engineers.

You’ll work with React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend, while exploring new technologies to improve our stack. Immediate start for a high-achieving, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a mature Engineering team at similar level.
• Proven potential with a track record of impact.
• Frontend engineering focus with modern frameworks (React).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable frontend/backend solutions aligned with architecture.
• Ship working code using React frontend and Kotlin microservices.
• Deploy and iterate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain code quality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services.
