Job summary

VIQU Limited, in partnership with a major organisation operating a high-traffic eCommerce platform, is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to help shape modern web experiences. You will contribute to responsive, high-performing customer-facing applications using React, TypeScript and Node.js within an Agile team.

Based in Leicester with hybrid working 3 days in the office, you will deliver clean, modular UI code, apply performance best practices and collaborate with developers, delivery

Qualifications

• Commercial React and TypeScript experience.
• Practical Node.js experience.
• Experience building responsive websites.
• Strong understanding of UI performance best practices.
• Clean, maintainable coding practices.
• Excellent analytical and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and maintain responsive user interfaces.
• Develop clean, modular and maintainable code using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Material UI.
• Collaborate with developers, delivery colleagues and stakeholders.
• Apply UI performance and responsive design best practices.
• Investigate defects and support continuous improvement.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota during peak trading periods.
