VIQU Ltd is recruiting a Lead Frontend Developer for a Leicester-based, high-traffic eCommerce platform. The role offers relocation support and a salary of £60,000-£73,000 with a 10-12% bonus. Expect a 3-day-in-office pattern (Tue, Thu, Fri) and a focus on modern frontend architecture.

You will lead by example, set coding standards, review code, and mentor developers while shaping a scalable frontend platform using React, TypeScript and Next.js.

VIQU have partnered with a global eCommerce organisation that delivers a high-traffic digital platform used by millions of customers worldwide. As they continue to invest in their technology function, they're looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to provide technical leadership across a business-critical engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer looking to shape technical direction without moving into line management. You'll lead by example, driving engineering standards, reviewing code, mentoring developers and helping deliver a modern, scalable Front End platform.

You'll work within an Agile team focused on enhancing a customer-facing eCommerce platform, influencing architectural decisions and ensuring the team continues to deliver high-quality, performant software.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Front End performance optimisation and responsive design.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
