Senior Frontend Developer – HTML5 – Oxford/Remote – Permanent

Predominantly remote working – this role will require 1-2 days per month on site in Oxford

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a leading client based in Oxford. The role involves implementing and tuning high-quality, optimized, and maintainable code within a framework to ensure the best user experience. Experience in developing games or software for the casino industry is not mandatory but could be beneficial. Strong proficiency in HTML5 is essential.

• Extensive experience with HTML5 and TypeScript
• Strong experience in mobile and desktop environments
• Knowledge of CSS, PostCSS, and SASS/SCSS
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind and Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques
• Background in mathematics, statistics, physics, or 3D development is desirable
• Good understanding of platform-specific and cross-platform capabilities
• Proficient in animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs
• Experience with source control tools like GIT and SVN
• Ability to analyze frameworks and functionalities for mobile-first development
• Experience with logging and error diagnosis tools such as Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Sentry
