Senior Frontend Developer – HTML5 – Oxford/Remote – Permanent

Predominantly remote working – this role will require 1-2 days/month on site in Oxford

Salary – competitive salary offerings for this position

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a leading client based in Oxford. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and tuning high-quality, optimized, maintainable code within a framework, ensuring the best user experience possible. Experience in developing games and software for the casino industry is not mandatory but would be beneficial. Strong experience with HTML5 is essential.

• Extensive experience working with HTML5 and TypeScript
• Strong experience working within both mobile and desktop environments
• Knowledge of CSS, PostCSS, and SASS/SCSS
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind and Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques
• Background in mathematics, statistics, physics, and/or 3D development is desirable
• Strong knowledge of platform-specific and cross-platform capabilities
• Proficient in animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs
• Solid experience with source control platforms like GIT and SVN
• Ability to analyze and understand frameworks to ensure optimal mobile-first experiences
• Experience with logging and error analysis tools such as Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Sentry
