Job summary

numi is seeking a Frontend Developer to own apps used by venue owners and players. You will build features across React web apps and React Native iOS/Android apps, turning Figma designs into shared components and handling the end-to-end mobile release process.

You’ll work with Auth0, Stripe, REST APIs and modern state management, with access to a CTO-led team and frontend standards from day one.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production frontend applications.
• 2+ years shipping React Native apps to stores (iOS/Android).
• Strong TypeScript and modern React skills (hooks, context).
• Experience turning designs into reusable components across web/mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across React web apps and React Native apps from design to production.
• Own the mobile release process: builds, signing, TestFlight, Play Console, store submissions, OTA updates.
• Turn Figma designs into reusable components shared across web and mobile.
• Integrate REST APIs, Auth0 authentication and Stripe payments with clean state management.
• Work with device features including push notifications, deep linking and Bluetooth in venues.
• Review PRs, fix performance issues and help set frontend standards as the team grows.

Job description

Our client is a leisure tech business whose camera and projector hardware turns real venues into interactive games. They need a Frontend Developer who is equally strong in React and React Native and has shipped native apps to the App Store and Google Play. You’ll join a small product team, report to the CTO and own apps that venue owners and players use every day.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and shipping features across React web apps and React Native iOS and Android apps, from design handoff to production
• Owning the mobile release process: builds, signing, TestFlight, Play Console, store submissions and over the air updates
• Turning Figma designs into reusable, accessible components shared across web and mobile
• Integrating REST APIs, Auth0 authentication and Stripe payments, with clean state management
• Building device features including push notifications, deep linking and Bluetooth (BLE) connections to in-venue hardware
• Fixing performance, crash and rendering issues on real devices, reviewing PRs and helping set frontend standards as the team grows

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years building production frontend applications, with at least 2 years shipping React Native apps to both stores
• Strong TypeScript and modern React (hooks, context, composition patterns)
• Hands-on native tooling: Xcode, Android Studio, CocoaPods, Gradle, code signing and store release
• State management and data fetching (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query or similar)
• Auth flows with Auth0 or similar, plus unit and integration testing and CI
• UK based with the right to work, and able to travel now and then for team sessions and venue visits
