Job summary

trg. is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to shape the frontend of an AI platform from day one. You’ll own the architecture, UX, and engineering standards, collaborating closely with product and design to define what gets built.

The role focuses on React/TypeScript interfaces, data dashboards, conversational interfaces, and high-quality user experiences. You’ll work in a UK remote setup with occasional London meet-ups, and enjoy health insurance, pension, and flexible working.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong React/TypeScript skills.
• Experience building data-rich apps, dashboards and conversational interfaces.
• Daily use of Claude Code with solid engineering fundamentals.
• Product-minded, ownership-focused and collaborative.
• 3+ years in a scale-up environment.

Want to shape the frontend of a new AI platform from day one?

I’m partnering with an established global business using behavioural science and AI to help some of the world’s biggest brands understand how advertising works.

They’re building their next-generation AI platform and hiring its first frontend engineer.

You’ll have real ownership over the architecture, user experience and engineering standards, working closely with product and design to help decide what gets built.

What you’ll be building:

• React and TypeScript interfaces that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Interactive dashboards and data visualisations.
• Conversational AI experiences and agent interfaces.
• 5+ Years of strong React/TypeScript skills.
• Experience building data-rich applications, dashboards and conversational or agentic interfaces.
• Daily use of Claude Code, backed by strong engineering fundamentals.
• A product-minded engineer who enjoys ownership, close collaboration and solving customer problems.
• Someone who's most recent role has had strong Permanent tenancy. 3+ Years in a scale up environment.
