Oxford Knight in London is seeking a Senior Front Office Engineer to sit at the boundary of technology and trading. You will design, develop and maintain real-time trading applications, analytics platforms and data pipelines that enable the European Intraday Power desk to test and execute strategies quickly in fast-moving markets.

The role focuses on power markets, requires deep Python experience, cloud and DevOps familiarity, and a track record in real-time energy markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Python software engineering.
• Experience with real-time energy markets / intraday trading.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• DevOps familiarity with Docker and cloud deployments.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments.

Responsibilities
