Senior Front End Engineer

Remote/Hybrid (Near Leeds, with one office day a week or month depending on your location). NB: Being based in London is too far.

We are expanding and looking for a talented React Engineer passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences. This role suits someone who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys building sleek, user-friendly web and mobile applications using React and React Native.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Engage in mobile app development with React Native.
• Create and optimize reusable components for seamless project integration.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance user experiences.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Maintain high code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
• (Optional) Explore AWS services for hosting and deployment.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state management (Redux or Context API).
• Experience with React Native is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3) is desirable.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of CSS and design patterns.

This is an almost fully remote role suitable for mid to senior-level React Software Engineers. It's a great opportunity to work alongside and learn from skilled JavaScript engineers.
