Job summary

PRGX is seeking a Senior Analyst (Freight) in the United Kingdom to analyze carrier freight contracts, audit invoices, and ensure payment accuracy. The role requires 3+ years in freight auditing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/Access. You will coordinate with carriers, clients, and IT while supporting audit plans and client reporting.

Full-time position based in Manchester with English-language requirements. Must be authorized to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in transportation systems in a technical setting.
• Freight audit and payment experience of at least three years.
• Knowledge of shipping modes, tariffs and discounts.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate carrier requests and systems.
• Ability to interpret essential freight documentation for payment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret carrier freight contracts and audit invoice payment information.
• Research and identify invoices not in compliance with the contractual pricing and service agreements.
• Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing.
• Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.
• Communicate with carriers and clients to address issues related to audits.
• Assist in client reporting and document audit processes.
• Share best practices and provide training for less experienced analysts.
• Develop audit plans with audit management and coordinate data requirements with IT.
