Job summary

A leading global freight and logistics company is seeking a Senior Freight Account Manager, offering ample progression and a strong reputation for staff development and retention. This role involves generating new business, managing customer relations, and conducting market research to identify growth opportunities. The role is structured Monday to Friday from 0930 to 1730, and includes a generous annual leave package.

Leading Global Freight and Logistics Company who are looking for either a Senior Freight Account Manager, lots of progression and a company who has an excellent reputation for staff retention and development!

Offer

  • Monday to Friday 0930hrs - 1730hrs
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in line with agreed financial targets.
  • Work with prospective and existing customers to devise and sell Forwarding solutions.
  • Manage the overall process of customer enquiries.
  • Report business development progress weekly to the COO.
  • Conduct market research and gain market intelligence sufficient to develop a pool of business opportunities.
  • Identify, assess and report opportunities for growth and development via new customers, new routes and new services

Skills

  • Self-starter who can use their initiative and can adapt to various situations
