Monzo is seeking a Senior Fraud Risk Manager to lead our fast-growing Fraud & Disputes Risk team. You will drive fraud strategy across UK and international accounts while balancing risk with a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading fraud strategy and risk teams in a fast-moving, regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU fraud regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to build data-driven fraud strategies that scale across operations.
• Track record delivering end-to-end projects and large-scale change programs.
• Stays updated on industry trends and responds to new fraud risks.
• Balances fraud risk with business goals and collaborates to ship new products safely.
• Demonstrates coaching and people-development skills.
• Excellent communication aligned with company values and stakeholder needs.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to self-serve data and leverage tech solutions.
• Industry qualifications such as ICA, CIFAS, ACAMS or CFE are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead our fast-growing, global Fraud & Disputes Risk team and collaborate with cross-functional squads.
• Oversee fraud risk strategy across current accounts, business banking, and international accounts.
• Design and rollout strong fraud controls and continuous improvement processes.
• Embed threat intelligence and analytics to identify trends and improve controls.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Ops to keep initiatives aligned and progressing.
• Coach and develop a high-performing fraud risk team and support career growth.
