Job summary

Vertech Group (UK) Ltd in Southampton is seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to drive the development of advanced FPGA solutions for wireless communications.

You will work across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through to implementation, integration and test, with hybrid working options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong FPGA design and development experience.
• VHDL experience.
• Digital signal processing (DSP) experience.
• Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for communications systems.
• Strong digital hardware design skills.
• Experience with FPGA simulation, verification and testing.

Senior FPGA Engineer

Location: Southampton / Flexible Hybrid Working

Salary: Circa £65K - £85K + Excellent Benefits

Senior FPGA Engineer required by a well-established, specialist wireless communications technology company!

This is a key role developing advanced FPGA solutions for complex wireless communications systems, working across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through to implementation, integration and test.

Essential:

• Strong FPGA design and development experience
• VHDL experience
• Digital signal processing (DSP) experience
• Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for communications systems
• Strong digital hardware design skills
• Experience with FPGA simulation, verification and testing
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

Nice-to-have:

• Wireless communications experience
• Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience
• Experience implementing communications algorithms on FPGA
• Knowledge of RF/wireless communication systems
• Experience taking FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle
