Job summary

Our client, a global technology organisation, requires an experienced FPGA Engineer for a long-term contract. The role involves designing, developing and integrating embedded software with FPGA components on a Zynq-based waveform system, and partitioning tasks between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to optimize performance.

You will work closely with RF, DSP and hardware teams to ensure robust system integration, analyse requirements and shape architectures for reliable, efficient operation in

Qualifications

• FPGA design and development experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of electronics, hardware-software interactions.
• Experience with AMD Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoCs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate embedded software and FPGA components for a Zynq-based waveform system
• Partition and implement functions between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to deliver high-performance solutions
• Analyse system requirements and shape architectures balancing performance, reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with RF, DSP and hardware engineers for seamless integration
• Identify and resolve hardware-software interaction issues in constrained embedded environments
• Document design, development processes and system architecture clearly and effectively
