EMBS Technology is seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join a skilled engineering team in the UK. You will work across the FPGA development lifecycle from architecture to verification, ensuring reliability, security, and quality in advanced products.

The role focuses on designing FPGA modules, capturing requirements, and coordinating interfaces within a multidisciplinary team. A hands-on, technically diverse environment with modern FPGA tools awaits.

Formación

• Experience with ModelSim/QuestaSim for FPGA verification.
• TCL scripting skills for test and automation.
• Knowledge of FPGA and SoC technologies and architectures.
• Experience with the Quartus toolchain in development flows.
• Version control experience using Git, SVN or CVS.
• Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to technical quality.

Responsabilidades

• Architect FPGA systems for new high-reliability products.
• Design FPGA modules using VHDL.
• Take ownership of requirements capture and detailed design.
• Define and coordinate interfaces between components.
• Develop test-bench modules for verification and validation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems.
• Produce high-quality design documentation and artefacts.
• Work with current FPGA technologies, tools and techniques.
