Job summary

Entrust is seeking a technically hands-on FPGA Engineering lead to design and deliver complex FPGA‑based systems. You will drive architecture, verification, and integration with embedded software, while mentoring peers and guiding delivery across multiple teams.

The role requires deep expertise in VHDL RTL, Xilinx architectures, and cross‑domain collaboration in Linux/Windows environments. Flexible, global workplace options are available to support collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver complex FPGA-based systems using VHDL RTL.
• Perform synthesis, place & route, and timing closure.
• Develop and apply verification methodologies (simulation, testbenches, coverage).
• Work with Linux/Windows environments for tooling and integration.
• Translate algorithms into efficient FPGA implementations for performance.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, implementation, verification, and debugging of VHDL-based FPGA solutions.
• Owns FPGA architectural design, including partitioning and interfaces.
• Drives integration of FPGA components with embedded and host software.
• Defines and structures FPGA development work into deliverable tasks.
• Provides estimates for FPGA activities and identifies risks and dependencies.
• Coordinates FPGA work across engineers for balanced delivery.
• Mentors engineers through technical guidance and reviews.
• Collaborates with hardware, software and product teams on platform capabilities.
