Job summary

The BUSY Group in Southport, UK is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to deliver financial planning, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis. You will work closely with operational leaders and executives to provide meaningful insights that support strategic decisions.

You will develop sophisticated models, coordinate budgets and scenarios, and support tender submissions while driving reporting improvements and data governance across finance systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A or similar analytical finance roles.
• Strong modelling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience translating complex data into business insights.
• Advanced Excel and high attention to detail.
• Experience in large multi-entity organisations.
• Exposure to planning/ERP platforms such as Workday Adaptive or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support strategy and planning.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning across multiple business areas.
• Conduct financial analyses, sensitivity modelling and business case evaluations.
• Provide actionable insights on financial and operational performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Support tender submissions with pricing, budgeting and commercial analysis.
• Drive improvements in management reporting and planning processes.
• Enhance data governance and reporting consistency across finance systems.
