Frazer-Nash Consultancy in Bristol is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the finance team. This role develops specialist knowledge in SSRO regulations while supporting defense contracts and providing high‑quality budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or AAT with relevant experience, with strong financial analysis, costing, pricing and stakeholder management skills; hybrid working is offered and

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or AAT-qualified with relevant experience.
• Experience preparing financial reports, management information or compliance documentation.
• Ability to understand cost principles, contract pricing methodologies and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply regulatory guidance.
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders and external organisations.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and budgeting across complex contracts or projects.
• Prepare, review and submit statutory reports and MIS.
• Interpret financial regulations and advise business stakeholders on application.
• Act as a key contact during audits and compliance reviews.
• Develop and maintain financial controls and governance processes.
• Support contract teams with costing, pricing models and risk management.
• Deliver financial guidance and training to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and business performance reporting.
• Provide commercial insight to aid planning and decision-making.

Education
