Job summary

Axon Moore is partnering with a fast-growing professional services business in Central Manchester to recruit a commercially astute finance professional. You will own the rolling forecast, build scenarios and stress-test plans, and translate commercial KPI trends into financial impacts.

The role requires advanced Excel, data visualisation skills (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) and SQL, with strong communication to senior stakeholders. Hybrid working: 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills required.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is expected.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the rolling forecast for the group.
• Build and stress-test scenarios across revenue and cost plans to support decision-making.
• Track and interpret key commercial KPIs by division/brand and translate trends into financial impacts.
• Produce weekly and monthly variance analysis against forecast with explanations on drivers of change.
• Drive process improvement across planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles using automation and AI.

The Company

Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, professional services business in Central Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a commercially astute individual with strong Excel skills, Power BI & SQL to join their exciting team.

Salary

Circa £60,000

Location

Central Manchester

Hybrid

4 days in 1 working from home.

Responsibilities will include

• Working closely with the Finance Business Partners to ensure forecast assumptions are accurate and up-to-date, providing challenge as required.
• Owning the rolling forecast for the group.
• Building and stress-testing scenarios across revenue and cost plans to support decision-making
• Tracking and interpreting key commercial KPIs by division / brand and translating trends into financial impacts.
• Producing weekly and monthly variance analysis against forecast with clear explanations on the key drivers of change
• Driving process improvement across planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles by utilising automation and AI

Person Specification

• Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc), SQL skills are a plus
• Confident communicator, able to clearly summarise information for senior stakeholders.
