Ophelos is expanding its Forward Deployed Engineering team to scale into new European markets. As an FDE, you will bridge engineering execution with market expansion, delivering per-market integrations and satisfying regulatory requirements.

You will work with a modern stack (Python, TypeScript, Ruby) and collaborate with Markets Success and client teams to deploy, configure, and optimize data flows and payments across diverse regions.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills with Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with complex schemas, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, idempotency, and replay logic.
• Proven ability to evaluate, map, and integrate third-party APIs and protocols safely and reliably.
• Ability to translate technical details clearly to client executives, product managers, and software engineers alike.
• Experience in an AI-first development environment using Claude Code, Codex, and OpenSpec.

Responsabilités

• Build, scale, and optimize per-market client data ingestion and API integrations.
• Connect market-specific payment providers and messaging APIs through clean platform abstractions.
• Adapt Ophelos to local regulations via configurable surfaces for workflow needs.
• Own market onboarding end-to-end and drive client deployments across Europe.
• Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients and internal teams to shape the product roadmap.
