Job summary

Stott and May Inc. is partnering with a high-growth AI startup to recruit a Forward Deployed Engineer in London. You will work directly with enterprise clients to translate their needs into production-ready software, embedding with the customer team and solving real-world challenges.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will navigate diverse tech stacks, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and ship rapid solutions while feeding insights back into the product roadmap.

Forward Deployed Engineer | Enterprise AI | London

I'm working with a seriously interesting AI start-up founded by ex-Palantir engineers, building a platform that lets enterprise teams describe what they need in natural language and turn that into secure, production-grade software.

They're now growing their Forward Deployed Engineering team and looking for strong engineers who want to work directly with customers, solve difficult real-world problems and ship quickly.

This is very much a "here's the problem, figure it out and build it" type of role.

As an FDE, you'd embed closely with customers, understand their operational challenges, rapidly design and build solutions, work across whatever systems and tech stacks are in front of you, and feed those learnings back into the core product.

They're looking for engineers who are:

• Comfortable with ambiguity and unfamiliar environments

• Strong communicators who can work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

The business is still small, has recently raised approximately$50m, and is planning to grow the FDE team significantly over the next year.
