Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions' client in the West Midlands is seeking a Senior Formulation Chemist to drive formulation projects from concept through scale-up and manufacture.

The role requires leading multiple projects, collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, NPD and Regulatory, and contributing to product innovation while troubleshooting scale-up formulation challenges. The position offers an attractive salary and is based in West Midlands, England.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or Cosmetic Science.
• Experience in formulation R&D and scale-up.
• Experience liaising with Quality, Manufacturing, NPD and Regulatory.

Responsibilities

Senior Formulation Chemist

Permanent position

Our West Midlands based client develop and manufacture a range of Homecare products, they are currently recruiting for a Senior Formulation Chemist to work on a variety of formulation projects, leading to product scale-up and manufacture.

Additional duties will include :

• Managing a variety of formulation projects, delivering against objectives
• Liaising with key internal departments including Quality, Manufacturing , NPD, Regulatory
• Supporting product innovation, generating ideas for novel and future products
• Trouble shooting formulation related problems encountered in scale-up and final manufacture

Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc / MSc / PhD in Chemistry / Chemistry / Cosmetic Science together with previous suitable skills and experience gained in a similar environment.
