Job summary

Thornford Park in Thatcham, Berkshire is seeking a Senior Forensic Social Worker to join Elysium Healthcare’s multidisciplinary team. You will manage a caseload of forensic service users, oversee assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals and supervise junior staff, while promoting safeguarding for children and adults.

Location: Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham. We offer extensive training, annual leave, wellbeing support and access to our rewards platform.

Qualifications

• A Social Work qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on safeguarding issues for children and adults.
• Oversee assessments, CPA reports, and Mental Health Tribunals.
• Supervise junior staff and supervise ongoing professional development.
