Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to support a forensic step- down service in a community setting. The role focuses on delivering MOHO-informed therapy, undertaking risk assessment, and supporting a multidisciplinary team to promote meaningful daily activity and independent living.

You will provide supervision to junior staff and students while championing equality, accessibility and inclusion across the service.

Qualifications

• MOHO-based approach to occupational therapy practice.
• Experience contributing to risk assessment and care planning.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and students.
• Champion equality, accessibility and inclusion in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions using MOHO to promote meaningful engagement in daily activities.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to risk assessment, care planning, CPA reviews and MAPPA processes.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students on placement.
• Engage in multi-agency working and ensure accessibility and inclusion in service delivery.
