The role involves core assessments, caseload management, and coordinating with prison services and community teams to support patients throughout the criminal justice pathway and back into the community.

Qualifications

• CPD is encouraged and supported by the NHS.
• Experience in mental health within custodial settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessments of individuals conducted within the prison mental health pathway.
• Caseload management across the justice pathway.
• Multi-agency liaison with prison services, through the gate services, and community services to ensure seamless care.
• Support the duty role within the team.
